A trucker on interstate 44 in Springfield, Missouri lost control of his rig and crashed into a pillar supporting the freeway his payload exploded on impact. The truck was full of 40,000 pounds of mayonnaise! Officers say it was a "one in a million' chance the truck's driver survived the impact, which ripped the lorry and trailer apart. " The interstate was closed for eight hours and has been cleaned up. "Police lieutenant Scott Leavin, told the Springfield News Leader: 'It was like walking on ice."
