Let me preface this post by saying I usually don't smoke little cigars. For a matter of fact I had never found a "cigarillo" I liked until now. The La Flor Dominicana Carajo is a 4 inch cigar with a 34 ring gauge. This little smoke is packed full of all the strength, flavor and spice that LFD is know for. They have a beautiful Ecuadorian Sumatra maduro wrapper. These cigars separate themselves from the rest of the pack with flavor and presentation. They come in a exquisite spanish cedar case and proudly carry the LFD Ligero band found all their other larger cigars. It takes about 30 to 45 minutes to burn one down. They maintain a consistent burn line and do not get hot like many other cigarillos on the market. At $18 for the pack of 6 they are actually a great value buy because in my mind they are not far off of their larger cousins the DL-425 and Chiselito.
Pair one of these smokes with a gourmet coffee or café cubano offered at Havana Sensation and you have the perfect recipe for an afternoon break.
Enjoy!
