Ernest Hemingway
- Born on July 21, 1889 in Oak Park Illinois.
- Died on July 2, 1961 in Ketchum, Idaho from a self-inflicted wound to the face from his favorite 12 gauge Boss shotgun.
- Worked as an ambulance driver for the Red Cross during World War I.
- Was a correspondant for the National American Newspaper Alliance during the Spanish Civil War.
- He spent much of World War II on his fishing boat the "Pilar" after convincing the cuban government to help him retrofit it for ambushing German submarines.
- Favorite Drink: Mojito
- Zino Davidoff once declared Hemingway, "a devoted smoker of Havana Cigars"
